I sat down and ordered my dinner and beer and we took off talking just like old times. Jim did not look like a happy camper (excuse the pun) at the moment. I went over to say hello, as it had been a year or so since I had talked to Jim. On this trip I happen to go into the local restaurant where, as it happens, Jim was also having a bit to eat and washing it down with a glass or two of beer. You can always find a campsite away from other people so you don't have to be around any one else if you don't what to be. It is a little over 5,000 feet in elevation, so there is a really nice dense pine forest there. The area were I camp is high in the Sierra Nevada mountains and there is a large lake nearby. Now I have a nice Pop-up camper with all the amenities, including a king size bed, so it is real nice to be up in the mountains and I don't suffer at all.
